A few weeks ago, we shone the spotlight on LSWorks and its development of its unique ReadLS online cognitive therapy program for teaching people with dyslexia and other reading challenges how to read in about 40 hours of instruction. Last week we highlighted the great work of the Charles Dickens Heritage Foundation and its licensing and charitable programs based on the incredible legacy of Charles Dickens.

This week we have the pleasure of spotlighting a unique offering made possible by these two businesses, namely a very clever licensing collaboration which has resulted in the development by LSWorks of ReadLS: A Christmas Carol. Narrated by Catherine Dickens (Charles’ great-great-great granddaughter) ReadLS: A Christmas Carol utilizes the storylines and characters and from Dickens’ famous novella, who then guide the students through the gamified lesson programs.

Now people can truly give the Gift of Reading at Christmas time! (https://lsworks.org/christmas-carol) In addition, ReadLS: A Christmas Carol is being offered by LSWorks this holiday season as an amazing fundraising opportunity for charities and not-for-profits. Please share this fair and wide and be part of the growing movement to teach people how to read. The impact on their lives and those around them is nothing short of profound. ReadLS: A Christmas Carol blends 21st century online edu-tech with classic principles of personal and social empowerment, education, knowledge, growth and charity. In the immortal words of Charles Dickens, “No one is useless in this world, who lightens the burden of another.”
