Pierre Robichaud is a founding partner of Andrews Robichaud. He is a Professional Engineer and an intellectual property lawyer. He is also a Registered Trade-mark Agent. Pierre uses his professional engineering and legal skills to assist clients in the field of patent and trade-mark law and to further help them to identify and advance their knowledge-based business. Pierre strongly believes that IP rights are business tools which need to be used as such through proper legal and business decisions.

Pierre deals routinely with patent searches, drafting patent applications and providing clients with patentability and infringement opinions. He is also involved on a day to day basis with the preparation and prosecution of trade-mark applications. Pierre also has experience in opposition and expungement proceedings before the Trade-marks Office, Trade-marks Opposition Board, and in the Federal Court. He also advises clients on copyright and industrial design matters, including applications, registration and infringement.

Additionally, Pierre is involved in litigation involving the protection and enforcement of intellectual property and related rights, including the preparation of pleadings and evidence, and the carriage of litigation from initial filings through to court hearings and/or settlement. Pierre est aussi fier d’offrir ses services en Français.
